Chocolate Quinoa “Porridge”
This breakfast feels so decadent due to the chocolate flavour but is packed full of B vitamins, protein and antioxidants. It basically tastes like hot chocolate as a porridge.
Ingredients
1/2 cup of quinoa
1 tbsp of cacao
1 cup of almond milk (unsweetened) or nut milk of choice
1 large banana
Few tbsps of nuts
1 tbsp of low sugar jam
Recipe
Add in quinoa and almond milk and cook until the milk boils
Then reduce the heat, add in cacao, 1/2 the banana (mashed) and chopped nuts
Transfer to a bowl and top with the rest of the banana (sliced), nuts and jam.
