Chocolate Granola

Kid & adult-friendly, this chocolate granola recipe is a delicious treat to have when you want chocolate for breakfast!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of almond butter

  • 2 tbsp of sweetener (honey, maple syrup, date syrup, etc)

  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract

  • 3 tbsp of cacao

  • 1/2 cup of oatmeal

  • 1/3 cup of nuts/seeds/coconut flakes/other toppings you desire

  • 2 tbsp of coconut oil

  • 1 tsp of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Combine almond butter and sweetener and microwave until both are combined. Add vanilla, cacao, coconut oil and sea salt into the mix

  2. In another bowl, mix in oatmeal, nuts/seeds/coconut flakes

  3. Combine both wet and dry ingredients and stir gently until combined

  4. Spread mixture on a baking sheet and bake for 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes

  5. Wait till the chocolate mix is completely cool until serving with fruit & low sugar yoghurt
